Exmouth Archers FITA Weekend

The idea for our FITA Weekend was conceived whilst shooting the 2004 GNAS Premier Event at Lilleshall National Sports Centre.  GNAS were eager to have a Premier event hosted in the Westcountry as the closest one was at Bristol.  Unfortunately GNAS would not grant us Premier Status for 2005, but wanted to see how well we ran the event.  GNAS did indeed grant Premier Status in 2006.

In 2009 the event was lucky enough to be chosen as the 4th leg of the Archery GB National Series.

In 2010 the event was lucky enough to be chosen as the 5th leg of the Archery GB National Series.

2011 was unfortunately only World Record Status, but was still run to the same high standards.

The 2011 event consisted of a FITA 70m or 50m and individual Head to Head on the Saturday, and a Ladies and Gents FITA on the Sunday, and this format will continue in 2012.  Please be aware that camping may be severely limited this year.  Please email the organiser for details.

Here are two documents that may help you find us.  I spotted the format with the roadsigns in a map that was sent to me at work.  I thought it was so good, that I would copy it.  There are two maps.  One from the M5 and one from the A30.
