Exmouth Archers Christmas Fun Shoot

Our Christmas shoot was originally held at the Sportshall at Exmouth Community College, the Round shot was a Vegas.  Although a serious tournament, prizes have always been 'Christmas Fayre'.

Over the last few years the tournament has changed to a much more fun format.  A few years ago we devised a 6 dozen fun round.  3 Dozen arrows shot at a Portsmouth Face, and 3 dozen arrows at a Worcestor face.  In 2004 the venue changed to the Pavilion, on Exmouth Sea Front, and the round reverted to 5 dozen arrows at a half portsmouth, half Worcestor face.  This format will continued in 2005 and 2006, but for 2007 we have decided to revert to a FITA18 shot on a 3 spot vertical face.  January 2008 saw the return of the Portsmouth/Worcestor combination.

Although the entry form state that shooting will be to GNAS Rules.  As is normal for this event, the dress regulation will be relaxed.

Unfortunately, due to the cost of hiring the Pavilion, and lack of other suitable venues in Exmouth, we will not be holding a shoot in January of 2009.  If we are really lucky with our Indoor Centre, the shoot will return soon.....wish us luck.....
